HIV / AIDS Risk Reduction Therapy

This specialized program provides therapy services to persons engaged in high risk sexual behaviors including needle sharing practices. The focus is a Harm Reduction Model of treatment with the objective of decreasing the risk of contracting and/or transmitting HIV/AIDS and other STDs. This service is funded by a Center for Disease Control (CDC) grant awarded to the Vanderburgh County Health Department. There is no charge to the patients accepted into this outpatient therapy program, and all information is confidential.
